Not just interested in taking poses and pictures, Tyra negotiated talk show deals, summer camps, movie roles, and even her own digital magazine. She has been an icon for teens for years with a message of positive self esteem. Known for her curves and over the top personality, Tyra Bank's career began her career in 1990 with Elite Management and has never looked back. One of her biggest accomplishments was being the first black woman to get the solo cover of Sports Illustrated. I remember reading one of her books when I was a little girl and she made the industry seem so real and attainable to me. So for that, I'll always love me some Tyra.
