The talented and beautiful Thandie Newton played a very convincing Lady In Orange in Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls. I have to say I really started liking her after watching her performance in Rock n Rolla. Thandie, birthnamed Thandiwe, was born in Zambia and later moved to London where she was enrolled in London's Art Educational School. She began her career as an artist in the area of dance and was forced to stop due to a back injury. She then picked up acting and moved to California to pursue her dreams. Although her English accent held her back, she remained persistent and continued to push on with her dream. In between auditions she was even able to get a degree in anthropology. Now, the mother of two is appearing in feature films and is in high demand. I want to see what she does next.
