Gaye McDonald's modeling career began in 2005 after she won a Caribbean Model Search. She then signed with Next Management and within a month she was on the cover of Luire Magazine. Since, she has walked the catwalks of Diesel, DVF, Heatherette and Lanvin. She has also graced the pages of French Vogue and was the face of Benetton ad. She blogs about the lack of black models in the industry saying, "I'm often the only black girl when I go to castings, which is horrible because everyone looks at you as if you are so different" But that contrast will not be for long.
