Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot are one of the most sought after photographers in the industry. They were both born the same year, 1971, and met in 1994 working in the photography business. They got their big break with a 'Dazed and Confused' cover. Mert and Marcus now work for Vogue, Pop, and Numero Magazine (among others) and their top clients include Louis Vuitton, Missoni, Georgio Armani and Roberto Cavalli. Mert and Marcus say what separates them from other photographers is that they spend a lot of time in the hair/make up and wardrobe rooms making sure that the imaging is up to their standard and is consistent with their vision.
