The one thing the downturn in this economy has done is reveal the true value in many people. You know, you’re value is not in a job or things. And I know yesterday’s message is similar to this in that intrinsic value can’t be matched by what you have; job, relationships, etc.

While working in Corporate America and even during college I became aware of a constant theme: appear to be who you want to become. And while reaching for more is great, too many began to live a distorted perception of life – including me. You become you’re job, or your title, or who you know or what you wear. Instead of owning these things, they in turn own you.

Once you find out your true value and purpose, freedom is yours. Until then you will never be satisfied. This is something that can’t be bought or even read about and taught. It’s something you purposely seek out and find. Its something you walk into; not turning to the left or right. Destiny is discovered on purpose and most treasures are buried beneath the surface.

The treasure is in you….start digging.
