Kinga Rajzak

Kinga Rajzak.....don't you love her name? She was born in Slovakia and debuted on the Kill Sander runway. Shes done some amazing spreads. Kinga was featured in V, French Vogue, Italian Vogue, Another Magazine, Dazed and Confused, British Vogue and W. She was the face of Y-3, Dolce & Gabanna, Prada, and Balanciaga. And she has walked the runways of Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, Jean Paul Gaultier, YSL, Givenchy, Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Marc Jacobs and Missoni among many many others. She is known for her hair and her stare. I personally don't have a favorite feature from her. What I like about her is her ability to transform... and I sometimes think that transcends 'beauty'.

AALIYAH

She was such an inspiration to me. I wore a bandanna for like 2 years because she did. I ran out to buy shiny silver pants because I wanted to dress like her. I still know all of the dance moves to her videos. And her make up was always a futuristic and a step ahead. But what I remember most was how EVERYONE said how nice and loving she was.

I remember reading an interview where Dame Dash (her boyfriend at the time of her death) said that what he loved most was that she didn't have a need to be on the scene every night. And another interview in Honey Magazine where it talked about how she wasn't a huge fan of press.

But when she performed on her platform....videos....she was an ARTIST!

I JUST LOVE HER! I wish she was still around. But I'm happy that I was once able to be a fan.

Fresh Face- Wang Xiao

Wang Xiao is a Chinese model who signed with Wilhemina last year. She landed a major campaign with Calvin Klein One (one of my favorite brands) as one of her first gigs. She has since walked the runway for Nicole Miller, Jeremy Liang, Band of Outsiders and Thakoon. Earlier this year she walked for Thierry Mugler. Wang is known for her hair. I think shes absolutely beautiful and I'm excited to see what she does next! Which picture is your favorite?
