For the first time since 1989, Vogue will feature a black
covergirl in a solo shoot. Disgusting, isn't in? In a world with a Black president running the most powerful country in the world, the images of beauty have primarily been all non-white. Yet, plastic surgery to get larger lips and butts are on a rise. Not to mention the addiction to tanning salons. But people are told Black isn't beautiful? I'm happy that Vogue is taking a step to increase diversity. And I have always loved designers like
DVF who vocally make a point to increase the use of models of all nationalities. I know that fashion is loved because its all about imagination, but it is time for it to step foot into reality. Either way,
MosaMuse is only a few months from being completely up and running. Oh yea, and the September
covergirl is the very beautiful,
Halle Berry! How could Vogue resist?
