Nicki Minaj actually looks nice in this Black Book editorial. I thought her Grammy look was a huge fail, so I'm happy to see this rebound. The attention-getting celebs right now are extremely over the top, and they made being over the top look so boring and unappealing. Gaga started the trend, and still does it best. The majority of costumes seem like they are begging for any type of press and hiding lack of talent. But, this editorial was nicely styled and consistent with her imaging overall. I personally hopes she sticks with it, and feels comfortable enough in it to chill out with the faces and just be herself (minus gimmicks).

Ohhh I'm so ready to have a REAL space. Living in NYC is cool, but I'm missing SPACE... as well as grass, trees, fresh air, normal people, stars, etc. Even with the limited space I've managed to create an amazing space with some amazing pieces. Right now, I'm ready to times that by one thousand. So here are some inspiration photos because something tells me that even if you're not trapped in a NYC apartment, you're looking for more. Lets work towards it!
I rarely ever put up anything not flattering. But I am just so offended by this horrific dress. What was going on here? And check out the shoes. I mean... BIG QUESTION MARK. The dress is not even steamed! I mean, what is happening here?
FLAWLESS BEAUTY. So excited. See ladies, this is a woman who finds what works and STICKS WITH IT. The short hairstyle, the same dress silhouette, same style of earrings. She just changes the colors (slightly). But we eat it up because its flawless. When people get it right like this, I love the Oscars.
Cate Blanchett's dress actually works for me. I believe its Givenchy. Many people have given it a thumbs down but I actually give it a thumbs up. I don't think anyone else could have pulled this off. But, Cate did it well.
Scarlett looks so great in this floral lace dress. It looks better on TV than photographed.
I think I wore this exact same dress to my senior prom. Not kidding. Same color and everything, minus the Versace pricetag. But, enough about me. Jennifer Hudson looks absolutely amazing. Two thumbs up to her just for her radiance and confidence.
Don't forget tonight is Oscar night! As you all know by now, I'm pulling for Black Swan. I finally saw the Kings Speech last night and I don't understand what all the rave is about with that film. It was beautifully executed, but ookk. Anyway, my second fave is Inception. But most importantly, whats going to cover Natalie Portman's baby bump as she accepts the award for Best Actress? How many wardrobe changes will Rachel Zoe give Anne Hathaway? As for the guys... will any of them do something original for a change? I will keep you all posted on my favorites. By the way, now that Mila Kunis has become the 'it' girl, will she be able to live up to the hype?

Versace actually created one of my favorite collections this fashion week. I love the range that is displayed. Its very bold and sexy, and even the soft and feathery pieces have strength to them. I think they are amazing. I hope Natalie Portman wears that white long swan-feather dress to the Oscars. It seems as if it was designed for her, but I'm not sure if the collection was showcased in time. Plus, she's preggers. So I guess that fantasy is over.
